Troubleshooting

Some players have complained that the controls can get unresponsive when pressing a specific combination of buttons. This problem can only occur on a keyboard and as you will read below there is not much we can do.  Fortunately, there is a workaround. 

In some keyboards, it is possible to encounter a problem when pressing more than 2 buttons at the same time. There are some parts of the game that you have to do that. F.e perform a crouch jump while moving that requires pressing the crouch button + jump + (right or left) direction. Most players prefer to crouch by pressing the down direction on a keyboard, but there is an alternative button mapped on Control. If you see that the controls don’t work as intended while performing a crouch-jump, make sure to try the same with Control as well. So far we’ve only seen the problem appearing when pressing the Down direction. 

Unfortunately, this is a hardware issue (ghost input) and there is not much we can do about it. There might be a more elaborate solution in the future, but for now, that’s the best we can do.

TL;DR

If you can’t move right or left while crouch-jumping, try to crouch with the Control button instead of the Down direction for that action.
